Yuksel Seeds Debuts a New Mini Plum Tomato with ToBRFV Resistance

Yuksel Seeds has expanded its tomato portfolio with the introduction of Pomeria, a new indeterminate mini plum tomato distinguished by its earliness, high yield potential, and a comprehensive disease resistance package, including resistance to Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV).
Pomeria develops a vigorous plant with short internodes and an open growth habit. Its very early production cycle enables growers to enter harvest quickly. The fruits are mini plum type, weighing between 12 and 16 grams, with an intense red color, uniform ripening, and firmness. In addition to its flavor, the variety is designed for loose harvest and offers robust post-harvest shelf life thanks to its thick, fleshy walls.
The new variety also stands out for its resistance to fruit cracking and microcracking, while maintaining a uniform fruit size throughout the entire crop cycle. Its fruit-setting ability ensures consistent and stable production, even under challenging growing conditions.
Thanks to its adaptability, Pomeria can be grown under a wide range of cultivation conditions and is particularly recommended for early plantings, extending its production window beyond the traditional season cycles.
